G-Type Fin Tubes are a type of finned tube where fins are mechanically bonded to the base tube through processes such as fin winding and embedding. These tubes typically feature fins with high surface area, and the fins are shaped like the letter "G". This design increases contact area with fluids and enhances heat exchange efficiency. Also known as grooved fin tubes or embedded fin tubes, the "G" designation refers to the grooved design. They are manufactured by twisting fin strips (typically made of copper or aluminum) into machined grooves on the tube's outer surface. The fin strips are then backfilled to securely lock them in place, ensuring a tight fit.
