Product Specifications
In marine vessels and offshore platforms, C70600 copper-nickel tubes are widely used in central cooling systems, lube oil coolers, and desalination units. Their outstanding resistance to erosion-corrosion allows them to withstand long-term exposure to high-velocity seawater without pitting or crevice corrosion. Additionally, the alloy offers excellent weldability and formability, making it easy to fabricate complex U-tube and coil configurations that meet the design demands of compact heat exchangers. Thus, C70600 copper-nickel tubing is recognized as a “reliable marine tubing material” in offshore engineering.
Product Description

ASTM B111 C70600 Copper Nickel 90/10 Seamless Tube is made from a copper-nickel alloy consisting of approximately 90% copper and 10% nickel. This material is specifically designed for heat exchangers, condensers, and similar applications in marine environments where corrosion resistance is critical.

The addition of nickel enhances strength and corrosion resistance, making it ideal for saltwater environments. The 90/10 copper-nickel alloy offers durability, thermal stability, and excellent resistance to biofouling in seawater.
