The Stainless Steel Seamless Tube ASTM SA213 TP304 (1.4301, SUS304) is designed for petrochemical applications. The ASME SA213 designation confirms compliance with American Society of Mechanical Engineers specifications for seamless ferritic and austenitic alloy-steel boiler, superheater, and heat exchanger tubes.
These tubes undergo rigorous testing including hydrostatic tests, non-destructive testing, and dimensional inspections to ensure quality and safety.
TP304 offers excellent corrosion resistance and weldability, with composition of chromium (18-20%) and nickel (8-10.5%). While resistant to many corrosive environments, it may not be suitable for chloride-containing conditions.
